I talk to
interviewee about what he or she sees as the most important issues facing the
world today. I would like you to get the opinion and have a far-ranging discussion
on whatever issues he or she concerned with;
Some important world issues:
-global warming -energy conservation
-war -nuclear arms
-corruption in government -population sizes
-globalization and employment
For global
issue the student chose the global warming. She mentioned required conservation
of existing resources, alternate fuels, different methods of pollution
reduction, new inventions to use renewable resources and research.
In her
opinion government was the main thing that should solve these issues. It should
be this country’s government and all other countries governments. Both also she
think every person should do something to solve the problems of this issue. Her
only other concern at this time was studying for exams and they had little
time. I was surprised that war and nuclear arms were not chosen with Iran and
North Korea in the news every day. The students’ sources of information were
documentaries, professors, classes and news stories.
